Hearts and Heroes

Health Services of North Texas, a non-profit organization providing services to underserved North Texans, will be hosting its 15 annual Hearts & Heroes event at the Denton Country Club on Thursday, October 27, from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Hearts & Heroes honors outstanding citizens and organizations that are dedicated to leadership, philanthropy and a commitment to community service. Awards that will be granted include the Spirit Award, Founders Award, Community Leadership Award, The Richard Sale III Award and the Agency of the Year Award.

The honorees that have been chosen for the awards have made a difference within the North Texas community. Honorees include Susan R. Frank, Mark Merki, Delena Stuart-Watson, Gene Gumfory and Communities in Schools of North Texas.

The business dress event will take place on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 6:00 PM and draws 200 attendees to honor those that typically avoid recognition for their service to the greater North Texas community.
