Health Services of North Texas (HSNT) provides caring and confidential menopause treatment for women in our community. We support women at every stage of life, including the changes of menopause.

Our team welcomes new patients and offers menopause care for women typically aged 40 and older, or for those who have hormone or gynecological concerns, with or without a hysterectomy.

Menopause Treatment

What Is Menopause Treatment?

Menopause treatment helps manage the physical and emotional changes that happen when hormone levels, such as estrogen, begin to decrease. These changes can affect your comfort, sleep, mood, and overall health.

HSNT’s women’s health providers take time to listen and understand your needs. Your first visit may include:

  • A private discussion about your health and family history
  • Review of menstrual changes
  • Blood hormone testing
  • A pregnancy test, if needed
  • Other tests based on your symptoms

Our goal is to help you feel better and stay healthy during this transition.

Benefits of Menopause Treatment

  • Better sleep and mood

Menopause Treatment Options at HSNT

Our women’s health team offers testing and treatment options to help balance hormones and reduce symptoms.

Treatment options may include:

  • Hormone pills
  • Patches
  • Creams or gels

Some treatments use bioidentical hormone therapy, which acts like the hormones your body naturally makes. Your provider will use blood test results to set the right dose for you. Hormone balance can change over time.

You may need follow-up visits and blood tests to make sure your treatment is working well.

Menopause Treatment FAQs

Many women recognize menopause by symptoms. If needed, HSNT can review your health history and perform blood tests to check hormone levels.

Some lifestyle changes may help, but many over-the-counter supplements are not well studied. It’s best to talk with a medical provider before trying new treatments.

Hormone therapy can be safe when closely monitored by a provider. Our team will explain the benefits and risks so you can make an informed decision.
