What is a well-child visit?

Your child's body is growing and changing every day. Staying on top of your child's health and development is part of our mission to keep kids healthy. This is why we offer child well-visits at Health Services of North Texas at the Wylie Children's Medical Clinic in Wylie, TX. Seeing a doctor just once a year during periods of rapid growth may seem ideal, but realistically, having your child in for a well-visit is great for preventing health conditions.

Setting your child up for a healthy relationship with his or her body in childhood is a wonderful gift you can give your child. You can do this with well-visits at least once a year to prepare him or her for getting their annual physical. Having access to healthcare even when you are not sick is a great opportunity to acknowledge your child's health. HSNT wants to be your child's medical home. We like to celebrate good health, as well as helping when illnesses arise. To learn more about well-visits at our Plano, TX facility, please call and schedule an appointment.
