Introducing Nora Aliev, NP
Health Services of North Texas is delighted to announce the addition of Nora Aliev, Family Nurse Practitioner to our newest health center at the Serve Denton Center. Nora has expansive experience working in community health. The very first question that I asked her is why she choose HSNT, this is what she had to say, “Working in Community Health and being a first generation immigrant, I know firsthand the barriers and challenges that patients face in getting quality, comprehensive healthcare services.”
Nora is a passionate advocate for her patients and focuses on preventative healthcare. “What can we do together to break the cycle of health disparities and going to the ER unnecessarily?” Nora wants to develop strong patient provider relationship with open communication to overcome the barriers and disparities that patients struggle with.
Education and information are key to every health visit that a patient has with Nora. Identifying root causes and working to develop achievable goals, paired with education, are key to creating a successful patient/provider experience for Nora. As many practitioners would tell you, Nora too finds that drinking water and walking, simple things like this are in reach for many patients and can help them achieve their health goals.
Her hope for each patient encounter? “My hope is patients will leave motivated to improve lifestyle and be encouraged to love themselves enough to make their health a priority.” Nora says that her patients can expect her to be honest and thorough, giving each patient her undivided attention and listening to their concerns.
Nora Aliev is a busy mom of four active children, and she likes to volunteer in her spare time. “I love to be involved in my kids’ lives and cheer them on during these important days.”
