HSNT New Team Member Kerry Gamble, NP

Health Services of North Texas recognizes that there is an increased need in our community for quality healthcare. HSNT is excited to announce that we have added an additional team member to our new Health Center at the Serve Denton Center on Loop 288 in Denton, Texas, to help meet that need.

 

Please help us welcome Kerry Gamble, Nurse Practitioner. Mrs. Gamble brings a wealth of experience in primary care for adults and we are delighted to welcome her to the great state of Texas. She is a transplant from sunny California, where she practiced in family health for 3 years.

 

Prevention-Focused Healthcare

Kerry is prevention-focused and wants to encourage people not to ignore the voice in their heads that is nagging them to get a checkup: “If you’re worried about something, schedule an appointment to meet with a provider. We’ll work together to get you the help you need.”

 

Teaching patients about good health and how to best take care of their health is a priority in each of Kerry’s patient visits.

 

When asked about her long-term goals, “My goal is to provide excellent, evidence-based healthcare in each visit, and long term, I want to address bigger systemic issues that affect the health of our patients.”

 

Patient Care & Quality Medicine

Dr. Jason Siegel, Medical Director, expresses his delight in the addition of Kerry Gamble, NP, “I’m very excited that Kerry has joined our care team. She brings with her sincere interest in patient care as well as quality medicine. She is a huge asset to our team, and I believe patients will respond well to her knowledge, her warm personality, and her competent care and interest in their health care needs.”

 

Controlling diabetes, high cholesterol and hypertension are all keys to feeling healthy and well, and Kerry is passionate about helping her patients achieve their health goals in these areas. “When these conditions are under control, you will feel so much better. Sometimes we forget what healthy feels like.”

 

Kerry Gamble has always wanted to be a nurse and provide access to medical care for those that might not otherwise receive care. One of her favorite things about family practice is getting to care for the entire family.
