MEET ANA
Ana Archila, Family Medicine Physician Assistant has a smile that will put any patient at ease along with a wide range of clinical experience providing primary medical care that she brings to her practice at Health Services of North Texas Plano. Archila completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies with UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX.
Archila is passionate about prevention, getting to the root cause of chronic illness, and working together with her patients to form individualized plans to promote wellbeing.
In addition to providing primary care for adults, Ana Archila, PA-C received her Master’s in Early Childhood Disorders and is trained as a developmental specialist. She is excited to begin offering developmental screenings for children. These screenings will identify gaps in learning and development, providing important information and resources that will help children overcome these gaps in learning.
Archila is bilingual, speaking fluent Spanish and understands the importance of culture in the health care setting. Being a resource for her patients and reducing barriers to accessing care is a priority for her.
Archila goes on to say, “I want my patients to feel they are in a safe space, and they can share their concerns honestly, asking questions so that together we can work towards optimal health. My goal is to empower patients to take accountability for their health. We will focus on lifestyle, food, nutrition, and sleep as they are fundamental to our health.”
Archila’s patients have this to say about their experience with her, “Ana was very professional, she came across caring, thorough, and listened to my health issues. I look forward to our patient doctor relationship going forward.”
Ana grew up in the heart of Plano and this drives her to continue to find ways to meet the healthcare needs of her community. When she is not working, her family including her husband, two daughters, dogs and cat bring her much joy.
