Celebrating National Health Center Week in 2024
Last week, we proudly joined nearly 1,500 community health centers across the United States in celebrating National Health Center Week . In recognition of this significant week, we were honored by proclamations from the following:
- The City of Denton
- The City of Lewisville
- The City of Plano
- Denton County
In addition to these proclamations, our team engaged in several impactful activities:
- Our team collectively volunteered over 22 hours at Our Daily Bread, contributing to their mission of supporting those in need.
- We donated four boxes of essential items to Our Daily Bread to assist them in providing for their guests.
- We hosted a roundtable discussion with key community leaders to strengthen connections and highlight the vital work our providers do every day.
- We presented at a local section 8 apartment complex about diabetes and nutrition.
