Cuisine for a Cure

Cuisine for a Cure

The 8th annual fundraising event, Cuisine for A Cure, supports the Plano Children’s Medical Clinic’s efforts to deliver compassionate high quality pediatric care regardless of a family’s ability to pay. Over 4,500 children (representing 10,620 annual visits) were seen in 2016, and the number is expected to be nearly 5,000 by the end of 2017. All children are either uninsured or on Medicaid/CHIP.

The event theme, Together We Can, both celebrates the power of a community when it helps others in need, and is a unifying call for support of those in need. This unique progressive dinner (fundraiser) with food, beverage and entertainment and services donated by the Shops at Legacy Plano restaurants and retail shops is the major event for the year. Entertainment will be a full musical produced, pro bono, by Studio 7 Performance and Pogue Entertainment. All performers will be children with song and dance.

Tickets are available to the public though the event is limited. Attendees represent Collin County leaders and community members who support the mission of the Clinic and want to enjoy a wonderful evening at the same time. Space is still available and tickets are only $125. Tickets may be purchased online at: https://www.planochildrensmedicalclinic.org/index.php/event/cuisine-for-a-cure/

Major sponsors include the ORIX Foundation, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano, DFW iRealty, Kroger, Rubicon Mortgage, AlphaOmega Insurance, Reinhard Realty, Hamm’s Tires Dallas and Alpha Graphics Plano and the various restaurants at the Shops at Legacy.
