Denton, TX, December 13, 2021 – DATCU Credit Union receives Hearts and Heroes award presented by Doreen Rue, CEO of Health Services of North Texas for 20 years of supporting patient care for community members in need. 

 

 

The Hearts and Heroes award has been reserved for those individuals and organizations in our community that make sacrifices and give wholeheartedly of their time, talents, and financial resources to improve the quality of life for their fellow community members in such a way that it leaves a lasting impact. 

 

DATCU has demonstrated their commitment to the community where they serve in a tangible way through financial giving and board participation for many local Denton County nonprofit organizations. 

 

The Hearts and Heroes award presentation commemorates 20 years of DATCU’s commitment to the health of our community through employee service on the HSNT Board of Directors and financial giving to patient care at Health Services of North Texas.  

 

With much gratitude and appreciation, Doreen Rue presented the Hearts and Heroes award to Glen McKenzie, CEO and Melanie Vest, President, “Your support through the years to HSNT, patient care and me personally has made a lasting impact. Your guidance through transition and growth were invaluable and your financial partnership incredibly meaningful.”
