What is pediatric urgent care?
Health Services of North Texas (HSNT) is proud to offer pediatric urgent care to new and established patients at our Plano, TX facility and the Wylie Children's Medical Clinic in Wylie, TX during business hours. When your child needs urgent care, you can rest assured that he or she will be in a kid-friendly environment at our pediatric clinic. If you are a current patient with us, you also have the benefit of having a pediatrics team that has your child's medical records. If you can bring your child into our office during business hours, your child will be seen by a provider that you and your child already know and trust. We offer in-house testing and have a laboratory ready to process the results.
You may need a 24-hour walk-in clinic on the weekend or in the middle of the night, and we expect that you will provide that for your child when needed. Just know that if you are in an urgent care situation when we are open, you can reach out to HSNT for help first. If we feel that your child needs to go to the emergency room, we will not hesitate to make that recommendation first. We value you and your child at HSNT, and you will get an actual appointment time for an urgent care appointment. Depending on the severity of the illness, we will do our best to see your child at the earliest possible time. Call today for more information.

About your medical emergencies
Hospitals are for emergency situations. If your child is having a life-threatening emergency, please take your child to a hospital for care right away or call 9-1-1 for an ambulance. Anytime your child is lethargic with a really high fever, dehydration, trouble breathing, a severe allergic reaction, chest pains, signs of appendicitis, or severe lingering stomach pains, these symptoms warrant a visit to an emergency room.
