Bethany Ishmael, PNP in Wylie, TX

Health Services of North Texas welcomes Bethany Ishmael, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to our Wylie Children’s Medical Clinic. Bethany brings a wealth of experience to HSNT’s pediatric practice in Wylie with 17

years of providing pediatric care. Her many years of experience serving in the NICU and as a school-based nurse prepared her well to transition to her role as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, providing direct primary care to pediatric patients.

Getting to know her patients and their families is important to Bethany as she works to develop rapport and trust. “I am passionate about educating in a way that makes sense and works for the patient and family. When you educate, you are empowering change.”

When talking about childhood nutrition Bethany conveys her passion in this area, “Good nutrition is important to support healthy, thriving children and I spend time each visit providing information and takeaways that parents can use. How can we creatively work together to get healthier?”

Bethany is eager to establish trust and a relationship with the patient families as they work together to help children thrive and get to their very best healthy.
